- 500ish grams of steak – cheap cut, like chuck, is good
- 1 onion roughly diced
- 2 carrots roughly chopped
- 2 tspns beef stock
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup.
Mix beef stock with soup, place everything into slow cooker, cook on low/auto for 8-10 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes and dumplings.
Dumplings recipe:
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 1 tblsp butter
- 2 tblsp milk
Rub butter into flour, stir in milk to make a dough, roll into balls and add to slow cooker for last 1-2 hours of cooking.
