Angel Cafe

My adorable sister Alexie has been staying with us for the last week, and we’ve LOVED having her. She’s so good with Mayana, and the two of them love each other to bits.

Yesterday was her last day with us (*cry*), so we decided to go out for a special treat all together. We went to the beautiful Angel Cafe and had a lovely afternoon tea.

Peter and Alexie treated themselves to this divine creation: a ‘Sweet Heaven’. A layer of sweetened condensed milk, followed by a long black coffee, topped with fresh whipped cream. Incredible. (I had a caramel milkshake).

Alexie: Lemon Meringue Pie

Me: Tiramisu Torte

Pete: Chocolate-Caramel Mudcake

After much consideration, Mayana decided on a couple of arrowroot biscuits and a handful of sultanas. She was such a good girl, she absolutely loved sitting up at the table with us like a big girl.
